About the Conference

After the success of 3rd International Conference on Emerging Trends in Traditional and Technical Textiles in 2023, which was attended by more than 200 delegates from different Institutes and Industrial units in India and abroad, the department is pleased to announce the 4th International Conference on ‘Emerging Trends in Traditional and Technical Textiles’ at NIT Jalandhar on 17th – 19th April, 2026. The conference is aimed to bring together the scientists, engineers from industry, research organizations and academia working in the field of traditional and technical textiles around the globe to have deliberations on the traditional and technical textile products, possibilities of new product developments, market potential and entrepreneurial opportunities.
